Garbage In Garbage Out

What are you putting in your mind? Are you putting what God wants in your mind or are you putting in what Satan wants?

Romans 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hearing the Word of God causes faith in God. Likewise hearing the words of Satan causes faith in him. Do you spend more time reading and hearing the Word of God or listening to the words of Satan? Do you understand that upwards of 90 percent of what you hear on TV are the words and lies of Satan? Do you understand that he wants you to have faith in him instead of in God? Do you understand that God wants to take you to Heaven and that Satan wants you to end up in the Lake of Fire? Do you understand that God wants you to live your life for Him and Satan wants you to live it for him? Do you understand that God wants to reward you for living for Him and Satan wants to deprive you of those rewards? We ought to be afraid to watch on TV what Satan wants us to watch and we ought to be discerning enough not to.

Genesis 3:1: Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Genesis 3:4-5: And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Satan spoke only 46 words to Eve. It may have been a few more or less in the original language. He asked her only one question and told her only a few lies. Those 46 words of Satan caused the most destructive sin in the history of mankind. They caused faith in Satan instead of faith in God. Just one minion of Satan, Adolph Hitler, said that if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. How many thousands of Satan*s lies have you and I heard over and over on TV?

Psalms 119:11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Are we absorbing the Word of God and sinning less? Or are we absorbing the word of Satan (on TV) and sinning more?

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Are we hearing the Word of God and growing spiritually or are we hearing the word of Satan and stunting our growth?
